If you would like an SSL Certificate but do not have the technical knowledge to generate a Certificate Signing Request (CSR) and install it yourself, the Premium Installation service lets you acquire the technology without needing that knowledge.

Premium Installation can be ordered with most of our SSL Certificate products. It is not compatible with our free trial or competitive upgrade products.

The service has a single fee that is added to the normal product pricing, and that fee is displayed on individual product pages and throughout the online ordering system. The Premium Installation Process

When you reach our ordering system and select the product you want, the Premium Installation option is presented where it is available. After you complete your order and payment, our team reviews the information you provided to decide on the best installation method for your SSL Certificate.

We usually make contact within 24 hours by e-mail to gather your hosting credentials and anything else we need. The installation may involve accessing your hosting account, so we will ask for your hosting account details. If you would rather not share your hosting password, you can change it temporarily while we install your SSL Certificate.

Where it is needed, we can use your server to generate the Certificate Signing Request (CSR) and Private Key, then reissue the SSL Certificate so it can be installed on your server.

Premium Installation is intended for customers securing a website or web server. Other custom installations, such as e-mail servers, are available only by request and agreement.

You must make sure your hosting package supports the use of an SSL Certificate and has its own dedicated Internet Protocol (IP) address before ordering Premium Installation.

If we are unable to install the SSL Certificate, we will refund or cancel the payment you made for the total price of your order. We aim to complete your order within 24 hours, though it can take longer because of order queuing or more difficult installations.

Ongoing Reissue Coverage

Industry rules now require SSL Certificates to be replaced far more often than they used to be, which means your SSL Certificate will need to be reissued one or more times during its license period.

To support this, Premium Installation now runs for the full length of your SSL Certificate license rather than ending after the first installation. Trustico® reviews the validity of the SSL Certificate it installed each month and e-mails you when a reissue is due.

Note : The Premium Installation fee is charged only once. It is not repeated for each reissue, no matter how many reissues your SSL Certificate needs during its license period.

Because the fee is charged once for the whole term, a longer SSL Certificate spreads it across more reissues and gives better overall value.
